2013 Brooklyn BabyFEST - Williamsburg - April 27th
From Greenpoint to Park Slope, Brooklyn is fast becoming THE place where parents & parents-to-be want to raise their families. And what better Brooklyn neighborhood to have Brooklyn BabyFEST than Williamsburg! Dubbed ‘Toddlertown’ by the New York Times, Williamsburg is the center of style & hipness. Town Square and Motherburg NYC have joined forces to create an event with great products, services and information for expectant parents and parents of children up to age three.
BabyFEST is a 1-day event in Williamsburg filled with over 90 exhibitors, 20 panel discussions, expert demos and keynote speaker Abby Epstein (Director of The Business of Being Born, My Best Birth). Parents will leave inspired and supported. The event will also have free childcare by Beyond Care Coop, food and drinks for purchase provided by The Brooklyn Hero Company (a new venture by the owners of Anella, The Calyer, Saint Vitus and The Bellwether) and ice cream by LIC’s Malu.
In addition to live music performances, an IKEA sponsored breastfeeding and diaper changing area, Brooklyn BabyFEST will host the 1st ever Brooklyn Diaper Derby. MC’d by writer & Brooklyn dad Dave Hill & sponsored by Brooklyn Based, the event is sure to be a highlight on April 27th.
